| Work performed on the radio not involving final transistors is under warranty for a period of 90 days. Final transistors cannot be
warranteed as the usual cause of their failure is a faulty antenna installation and incorrect match. We also do not warranty radios that have been powered wrong.
Tom prefers to be paid via PayPal. PayPal is an online visa and mastercard service that allows transactions via credit card to be done right over the web. Transactions with PayPal work as follows. Tom gives and estimate on repairs via E-Mail or on the
phone if you prefer. You ship your radio to Tom, he performs the repair, and when it’s completed payment is requested through PayPal and you receive an E-Mail with the total ammount of the repair or modification and shipping costs. Once Tom receives confirmation of payment your radio is shipped out via UPS. You can use the link provided on the left hand side to calculate your shipping costs.
The warranty period starts the day that UPS confirms the delivery of your radio. All radios are shipped insured for the full value of the radio including any modifications or upgrades.
If your radio is “dead”, and doesn’t power up Tom will be happy to give you an estimate on parts and service for $20.00 This covers the cost of opening, troubleshooting, and re-assembly of the
radio. After Tom has troubleshot the radio he will contact you by phone or email for the estimate and your approval before the repair is performed.
Personal checks are *>NOT<* accepted. In short, use the PayPal service. It saves time, hassle, and avoids confusion.
Tom only services radios, and cannot be held responsible for impropper and/or unlicensed operation.
